MEET OUR TEAM

A crucial part of any organization is the team that leads it and keeps it going day by day. New Hope Christian School is a team effort. In addition to the many volunteers that have served and supported our school, we also have a number of administrative staff and teaching faculty that serve our students and their families. Learn more about them here:

Aaron Warner, HEADMASTER

Aaron Warner was born and raised in Orleans County in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont. In the early 90’s, he moved to Winona Lake, Indiana, where he remained for 8 years earning a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Youth Ministry from Grace College & Seminary. Aaron considers his faith and family to be the most important things in his life. Right below that is his passion, the call of his life: to work with youth. Over the last 20 years, Aaron has sought to follow that call in a variety of roles including youth pastor, summer camp director and middle school science teacher. He currently lives in Sheffield with his wife, Sarah, and their three children.

Sarah Cousino, KINDERGARTEN & 1ST GRADE

Sarah was born and raised in Lyndonville Vermont. She says what she enjoys most about teaching at NHCS is: “the ‘ah-ha’ moments. When students are working so hard to figure things out, they’re almost getting it, and then Bam! They’ve got it! That joy, energy, excitement is awesomely rewarding!”

Beth Willis, 3RD & 4TH GRADE

Beth grew up in Derby and moved away for several years. She moved back to Troy Vermont in 2017. She came to NHCS to teach and share Jesus love with the students! She says “New Hope is a place where a good education and the gospel go hand in hand.”

Beth also says “I have always said that we don’t raise children we raise the adults we want to see our kids be…. it goes the same for students – I love watching kids grow and learn and the fact that I can be a part of that is an honor. My 3rd and 4th graders are very passionate about so many things, and I love that about them but their thirst for the Bible and learning about Jesus is contagious! Praying with them is my favorite thing to do every day!”

Jesse Monroe, MIDDLE SCHOOL & ADMINISTRATOR

Jesse lives in Irasburg, VT with his wife, Julie, and daughter, Joanna. He is a direct result of the ministry that happens through New Hope Bible Church, as He trusted in the saving work of Christ at the age of 15 through one of the church’s ministries—River of Life Camp. He now serves as the camp’s Director. Jesse holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry Leadership with a focus in Children and Family ministries from Moody Bible Institute. He has a passion for youth and camp ministry. In his free time, Jesse enjoys music and traveling.

Jenna Labbe, 2ND GRADE & M.S LANGUAGE ARTS

Jenna is originally from Maine and moved to Vermont 5 years ago. She came to NHCS because she felt God leading her to teach in the school setting after many years of homeschooling her own children. She most enjoys “watching the excitement on students’ faces when they learn something that interests them.”
